Well sorry for the gap. Just returned from Lara's first visit to "Grams' " house down in NJ. A little tired at the moment... but we will leave you with this shot of Lara and her new best friend Cova!

Pond is in! Still need to finish up rocks to make it look more natural. Then its off to get some plants. Still debating the tropica or cactus theme.

This morning, Lara happily slept in her bouncer. Look at those long fingers!!!

Before heading to Mary's graduation party, Great Uncle Steven and Great Aunt Debra stopped by for a visit with Lara. They brought some Baby Einstein goodies with them. While Lara wasn't interested, Toby really liked the hand puppet. Steven and Debra are going to be first time parents in September. We can't wait!!

Someone was very comfortable last night underneath the Pure Beech sheets. Can you guess who?

Today Lara went for her 2 week check up. She weighs 8 lbs 4.5 oz. Her umbilical cord fell off minutes before the dr. entered the room. She then experienced her first shopping spree, at Target, and she slept through the entire thing!

well boo for capital letters anyway. and for that matter anything that requires a shift key. baby is stopping me from using left hand.

anyway today is the 4th. hopefully the weather holds up so little lara can make her debut at the fireworks.
